Minegishi Minami’s Scandal
I have seen a lot people compare Michan’s punishment with Sasshi’s punishment. But people are missing a lot of facts. Sasshi’s scandal happened when she was not even in senbatsu yet. Michan’s case on the other hand happened right now and also considering she is a first generation member, she should have been a model to the other members.
We have seen the punishment for members who had relationships during their time in AKB48 and we saw what happened to them. *Yuka’s case is a bit different though, she wanted to leave AKB48 anyway.
I would take one of my favorite member as an example as well. Minarun from Team 4 had her purikuri photos dug up from her old blog posts and also was rumored to be paid for doing other things with older men. But she was suspended and not kicked out because it was from her past.
But anyway, don’t get me wrong, I love all the first generation members and I’m glad Michan is still in AKB48 and not kicked out. The first gen members are really precious in Aki-p’s eyes. But it’s interesting to see what happens after this considering Michan’s importance in variety shows etc. esp. AKB Kousagi Doujo.
